Fluff TV

As I sit and reflect on this current Comcast bill that may drain my bank account I think what am I paying for? There are over 300 channels on my line up and often times I feel as is there is nothing to watch unless I can catch a Bulls game. Don’t get me wrong I have my favorite shows I indulge in Thursday night on ABC at 8pm but we get about 7 episodes than a winter, spring and summer break. I remember pilot season then winter break followed by season finale. You can find several articles explain why so many breaks in a series is good but I miss the  good well written tv shows

So now my favorite shows are on another break what do I watch now? To answer the question it’s NOTHING. Most likely this is when my binge watching of old TV shows kick in. Is it just me or do we all miss well written TV shows like the OZ, which is the absolute best, The Sopranos, The Wire I good go on and on but I think you get my point. TV today is so predictable! I can watch a TV show and tell you what’s going to happened in the middle and end, charters development its really easy for me to figure out there back stories I’m not excited at all. Bring me back good TV or has the TV industry changed? Maybe it’s now all about short stories and reality shows oh boy how I surely miss old television shows

This is not me bashing current television this is me reminiscing on how TV use to be. So at the end of the day I pay an expensive cable bill just to have cable I don’t know if I would be able to make it without my Netflix and Hulu.
